E2X Series Brass Cable Gland

Brass Cable Glands manufacture and export E2X Brass Cable Glands for use with all types of lead sheathed and Wire Braid Armour, Strip Armour, Pliable Wire Armour and Steel tape Armour cable providing an environmental seal on cable outer and inner sheath. E2X Brass Industrial Cable Glands are designed and tested to BS 6121: Part 1: 1989, meets or surpasses requirements of EN 50262:1999 and produced from Brass grade to EN 12168. Other materials including Aluminium are also available in this standard design.

Provide an environmental seal on the cable inner lead sheath and cable outer sheath. Provides earth bonding of the inner lead covering or lead sheath. Provides inner displacement seal and armour termination.

Features
Features	Provides mechanical cable retention and electrical continuity via the armour termination. A detachable armour cone and Anyway universal clamping ring arrangement allows the cables to be easily disconnected from the equipment for maintenance and change out. This type of feature also facilitates remote make off procedures when the termination is to be conducted in confined spaces or in areas of restricted access. Provides separate tightening action for the inner displacement seal. Operating Temperature: -60°C to +100°C. The armour termination affords maximum control over the pressure applied to the cable inner bedding.
